Tibet is one of the most mystical and spiritually holy places on earth. Famous for the most sacred Potala Palace, a land of ancient Buddhist Culture and not forgetting Mt. Everest, the world’s highest peak, here you will also meet the hospitable and ingenuous Tibetan people with their unique folk customs.

Great explorers and adventurers of the century has ventured into this holy land rendered inaccessible by the hostile nature conditions and bandits that waylaid them across through the Himalayas. Awesome landscape, artistic monasteries, exotic cities, hidden valleys and centuries-old caravan trails.

Itinerary
  • Day 1 : Kathmandu (1,300m) – Lhasa (3,650m) or Arrival in Lhasa from China.
  • Day 2 : Day 2-3 Lhasa: Two Full Days Sightseeing Tour In Lhasa.
  • Day 4 : Lhasa – Gyantse (3950m) - Shigatse (3900m) 
  • Day 5 : Shigatse – Ronbuk (4980m) 334km. 
  • Day 6 : Ronbuk – Everest Base Camp (5200m) – Shigatse (3900m).
  • Day 7 : Shigatse to Lhasa (3600m) 351km. 
  • Day 8 : Lhasa to Kathmandu or other destination

Day 1 Kathmandu (1,300m) – Lhasa (3,650m) or Arrival in Lhasa from China.

Departure Transport to Tribhuban Airport and Trans – Himalayan flight to Tibet (Gongaar airport) (1hr.) Drive to Lhasa (1hr.) – Full rest for acclimatization – O/N at a 3 star hotel.

Day 2 Day 2-3 Lhasa: Two Full Days Sightseeing Tour In Lhasa.

Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar, Drepung Monastery and  Sera Monastery – O/N at Hotel.

Day 4 Lhasa – Gyantse (3950m) - Shigatse (3900m) 

Drive to Gyantse via Yamadroke Lake and high passes: Kora LA (5,010m) & Kamba La (4,794m) –  Sight-seeing in Gyantse including Pholkor & Kumbum Monastery. PM: scenic drive to Xigatse(1.5hrs) through the typical Tibetan Countryside Hotel.

Day 5 Shigatse – Ronbuk (4980m) 334km. 

Visit Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery. Then Drive to Xegar crossing over Gyatchu la (a pass of 5,200m) – Scenic drive to Ronbuk through the beautiful Tibetan countryside. Explore Ronbuk Monastery (highest monastery in the world) – O/N at Guest House

Day 6 Ronbuk – Everest Base Camp (5200m) – Shigatse (3900m).

Hike up to Everest Base Camp (5200m) and explore around – back to Ronbuk -Drive to Shigatse O/N at a Hotel.

Day 7 Shigatse to Lhasa (3600m) 351km. 

Drive back to Lhasa O/N at Hotel.

Day 8 Lhasa to Kathmandu or other destination

Lhasa to Kathmandu or China* Departure to Gonggar airport and fly back to Kathmandu.
