Kathmandu, a city where there are more temples than the houses, more gods and goddesses than the people is a tropical paradise duct between the gorgeous hills around all its four side. The cool weather welcomes you every time. Kathmandu has so much to offer from its outskirts beauty to the hustles and bustles of the city to the lovely nightlife. Everything from the food to the hospitality to the breathtaking Newari architecture, century’s old Hindu and Buddhist religious sites along with dedicated tourist-friendly accommodations and restaurants will definitely blow your mind. Stepping into Kathmandu is like stepping into a living museum that everybody should experience at least once in their lifetime. A city where ancient traditions rub shoulders with the latest technology has so much diverse festivities and the beautiful skyscrapers. Kathmandu is definitely one of the best tourist destinations in the world which can be felt close to you with the great hospitality that they greet you with. It is reasonably priced and you can spend your lovely weeks in and around Kathmandu which would not be heavy to your pocket either.

Pokhara, a city blessed with all the natural beauties, where the mountains speak a thousand unspoken words, where the rivers sing and dance along its flow, a city where the mountains see its own beauty on the placid water of lake is a must tourist destination for the tourists visiting Nepal. Nature can be said to be at its best in Pokhara. The snow capped mountains to hills, valleys, lakes, gorges and caves makes this city a mysterious city in the world. It provides you the breathtaking recreational stuffs as bungee jumping, zip fly, paragliding,etc.

Mardi Himal trek is the best way to escape out from the popular Annapurna region treks which is situated just east of one of the most popular treks of Nepal, the Annapurna Base Camp trek, it is a hidden gem. Every year only few trekkers make their way to the Mardi Himal Base Camp .Spectacularly situated at the base camp of Mardi Himal and the impressive Machhapuchhre. It is week long trek duct between the two fascinating trekking route the Annapurna Base Camp trek and the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek. The trail follows the small winding paths, through miraculous rhododendron forests unless you climb out of the forest at a high altitude around 3,300m.  The landscape changes quite hastily into a rugged high mountain landscape, with marvelous views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.

Another beautiful tourism area is Chitwan National Park (CNP). It is a UNESCO designated world heritage site. The Chitwan National Park has history of over 3 decades in park management and a rich experience in resolving conflicts between the park and people. It is a rich natural area in the subtropical southern belt of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammal, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofaunna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of one homed Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile. It provides you an amazing experience of jungle Safari through jeep, elephant or just by walking.

After the jungle safari, another adventure starts towards Trishuli River Rafting. It is one of the Nepal’s most popular river, providing an exhilarating and refreshing water safari. It is also very suitable for the beginner’s as well as it offers the great rapids for the beginner’s. Trishuli River enjoys scenic valleys, terraced rice fields, and impressive gorges with exciting and fun. With pool and drop rapids, there is plenty of time in between the thrill to enjoy swimming, cliff jumping, and simply soaking up the beautiful scenery.

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m) and transfer to hotel.

Upon reaching in Kathmandu International Airport, received by Lhasso Adventure representative then transfer to your respective hotels in Thamel. Then check into your room after getting refreshed, in the evening expert guides will explain regarding the trip.

Day 02 Fully guided Kathmandu city tour.

After breakfast, you are going for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley with tour guide to Buddhist and Hindu temples/shrines, which reflect the local culture & tradition, and religion of Nepalese society. After this exciting sightseeing tour, you will be taken back to your Hotel in the afternoon.

Day 03 Drive to Pokhara and setup camp in local village.

Today we are taking tourist bus to Pokhara, via Tribhuvan, Prithivi highway along Trisuli river and local villages Dhading, Mugling and Damauli. It generally takes 7 hours to reach Pokhara and will take local transport to the project site. Upon arrival at school will be welcomed by villagers offering you khada (Nepali holy scarf) and flowers. After that, guide will introduce to the community and school’s members.

Day 04 Volunteering at the School

After breakfast, guide will take you tour around the project site as well as explain about the project task and priority things of the school then he will help you to buy the project materials and necessary stuffs such as paints, brushes, stationery, sports materials, cement, sand and bricks tools. The day will only gather the materials.

Day 05 Volunteering at the School.

After breakfast at 9:00 am will start your project. Today you will do panting at the class rooms. You can make murals on wall as well as educational drawing. Guide helps you to mixing paints and idea for murals. Also, some kids will participate with you, which make you more fun.

Day 06 Volunteer at the School.

After breakfast, today you are doing heavy physical work with involving community people. Such as mixing sand, cement and laying bricks wall in school’s boundary.

Day 07 Volunteering at the School.

After breakfast, today you are doing different activities such as organize music, dance sports and stationary distribution to the kids. Some of you can join in the cooking class in the evening. Our chef will teach you to cook Nepalese traditional meal.

Day 08 Volunteer at the School.

Today you are visiting to local village, guide and a local teacher will take you tour around the village. This is an amazing experience as you can see the local life style and learn their cultures.

Day 09 Depart project site and drive to Hotel in Lake Side.

As we have come to the end of the project. In the morning clean the School area and tools that used on project as well as packed your bag. Community will organize farewell ceremony, if you would like to deliver any talent such as dance, song and speech, do prepare to perform on day, after that say god bye to the children and community then short drive to hotel.

Day 10 Exploring day in Pokhara.

Today you are exporting to Pokhara it is a naturally peace and cool place, where you can explore to those beautiful places like, Fewa lake, Sarangkot, bat cave and Peace Stupa. These are the amazing places to visit while you are here.

Day 11 Drive to Kande walk to Deurali 2,060 m via Thulo Kharka (Australian Camp) an Potana 1,900 m - 04 hrs.

After a nice and pleasant stop in Pokhara with excellent views of Annapurna Himalaya with majestic Machhapuchare Himal, having breakfast an exciting short drive leads you beyond Pokhara valley to reach the starting point to Mardi Himal trekking, drive leads past Pokhara valley outskirt with marvelous scenery of Annapurna peaks and farm lands and then reaching at Kande.

From here following uphill trail into cool shade of forest to reach a scenic spot at Australian Camp also called Thulo Kharka (larger grazing pasture for local cattle) offers wonderful panorama of Annapurna and majestic Machhapuchare Himal the Fist Tail peak, and the a short downhill walk takes you to nice village at Potana with marvelous views of Annapurna peaks.

After Potana catching views of Annapurna Mountains walk leads uphill into cool shade of forest to reach high Deuarli hill top for overnight stop, a scenic place with few lodge facing marvelous views of snow-capped peaks and green landscapes.

Day 12 Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,520m via Pitam Deurali 2,100m - 05 hrs.

After a pleasant overnight stop at Potana with fabulous views, walk continues on main trail reaching at a hill top at Pitam Deurali, offering superb views of landscapes and snow peaks.

From Deurali our route heads north leaving the main trekking trails into sheer wilderness where walks leads along a ridgeline into serene forested area with cool temperature views of Annapurna I and South and Huinchuli, including Annapurna IV -II and Lamjung Himal towards east after a good walk reaching our overnight stop in the midst of forest surrounding at Kokar Forest Camp with few basic lodges for trekkers.

Day 13 Trek to Low Camp or Badal Danda 2,970 m - 05 hrs.

From the Forest Camp, morning walk leads higher on uphill path with steep climb to reach a pasture land for overnight stop on route Mardi base camp at Low Camp also called as Badal Danda, a high ridge with couple of nice simple lodge facing super views of surrounding landscapes and mountains at close range.

Day 14 Trek to High camp 3, 700 m - 05 hrs.

This wonderful area offering grand vista of beautiful landscapes and snow-clad peaks in perfect tranquility heading higher to reach at High Camp as the air gets thinner and cooler with steep climb to reach at High Camp where tree lines fades to short rhododendron and juniper bushes.

Here at High Camp with a lonely lodge for overnight accommodation with basic facilities commanding super views of Annapurna Himalaya.

Day 15 At High Camp for hike to Mardi West Base Camp 4,500m.

Here with another night stop to explore beyond High Camp with day hike to Mardi Himal leads you towards high ridge on the highest point of the trek above 4,500 m.

Walk leads to a steep climb along a ridgeline to reach a hidden plateau at the base of Mardi Himal South Face with towering Mt. Machapuchare; this area known as ‘Other Sanctuary’ named by early pioneer Jimmy Roberts, when he first explored this area in early 1970’s. After enjoying the views of super mountain panorama return back on same route to our overnight stop.

Day 16 Trek to Siding village 1,750m | 5,740ft - 06 hrs.

After a fabulous time on the high ridges of Mardi Himal with beautiful views and back into forest of rhododendron and pines trees, retracing the journey back on same trail at Jungle Camp and beyond with more downhill walk to reach at Sidang village located between the junction to another East and West route to Mardi Himal on warmer area for overnight stop before ending this lovely trek next day.

Day 17 Trek to Lwang village 1,230 m - 04 hrs.

From Siding village morning walk leads within warm farm country by the side of Mardi River as our route leads past scattered farm fields and smaller villages to reach at Lwang nice community run villages with home stays for visitors.

Lwang village famous for organic tea and its plantations which is about 25 k.m distance from Pokhara populated by Brahmin, Chhetri, Gurung, Blacksmith, Tamang, Newar people. Thus, the visitors will have a great opportunity to experience the culture of people of various different faces of Nepalese. Visitors can stay in small stone roofs houses with clean lanes and surrounding, served with typical Nepali food (dal, rice, curry) and local chicken, alcohol made from local millet, cultural events and shows. Home-stay in Lwang village can be an unique experience with tea farm surroundings and mountain as backdrop includes typical mixed cultures and traditions.

Day 18 Trek to Kholamukh and drive back to Pokhara 850 m -02 hrs walks -02 hrs ride.

Morning catch the fantastic views of snow clad peaks, our last day walk leads to low farm areas at Kholamukh, and then for short drive to Pokhara, journey leads past Mardi Pul with views of mountains on route Pokhara, where our wonderful Annapurna Mardi Himal Trekking completes at picturesque Pokhara by the calm lake of Phewa Lake for last overnight stop around Annapurna region.

Day 19 Drive to Trisuli river beach camp.

Today you are leaving beautiful city Pokhara at 8:30 am and heading to the rafting point via Prithivi highway and Trisuli River. It would be approximately 4 hour drive, as you get in to the river you will get river information by the rafting guide. After white water rafting spend night at beach camp.

Day 20 Drive to Chitwan.

After breakfast, you get the tourist bus to the Chitwan, it takes 3 hours to get Shauraha. As you get in to hotel check in the room and have lunch then get rest. In the evening ethnic Tharu Village tour and witness of Tharu cultural show.

Day 21 Jungle activities.

After early morning breakfast, canoeing on Rapti River where you can see fresh water Gangetic Gharial and Mugger crocodiles and migrated birds, after that get back to the hotel you may encounter with the wild animals while walking. After lunch, you are visiting to elephant breeding center and jeep safari in to the deep jungle. It is one of the fun activities and see the wild animals.

Day 22 Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu on tourist bus - 07hrs and transfer to hotel.

Morning start with birds watching program or nature walks where you can spot wide range of exotic bird life from local residential to migratory birds with ducks and egrets, after breakfast drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 23 Depart for your next destination.

Today is the final day of our Volunteer and Adventure We will drop you to Tribhuvan International Airport, 3 hours before your flight schedule. It’s time for departing to your next destination.
