Everest Base Camp Trek
Everest Base camp trek, also known as EBC trek, is highly preferred by many trekkers around the world while trekking in Nepal. It is challenging and awe-inspiring at the same time. The EBC trek takes you to a mind-blowing elevation of 5555m. During the Everest Base camp trek, the trinity of temperatures, snow and altitude treat you roughly. - Day 5 : Namche to Tengboche 3860m.
- Day 6 : Tengboche to Dingboche 4410 m.
- Day 7 : Rest day exploration in Dingboche 4410m.
- Day 8 : Digboche to Lobuche 4910 m.
- Day 9 : Lobuche to Base camp and back to Gorakshep 5140m.
- Day 10 : Hike up to Kalapatthar to Pheriche 4270 m.
- Day 11 : Periche to Namche 3440m.
- Day 12 : Namche to Lukla 2840m.
- Day 13 : Fly back to Kathmandu 1350m
- Day 14 : Kathmandu 1350m.
- Day 15 : Fly back to Home.

Day 1 Kathmandu 1350m.
Lhasso Adventure’s representative will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport on your arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal and transport you to our hotel. You will have some down time to rest, have showers and eat. This evening you will meet our guides for a thorough briefing over our Everest Base Camp Trek itinerary.
Day 2 Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding 2610m.
One of the exciting and impressive flights to Lukla takes twenty-five minutes. After reaching Lukla Airport, you will meet the team and begin trek which approximately takes three and half hours walking to Phakding.
Day 3 Phakding to Namche 3440m
Today we ascend steeply to Namche passing through suspension bridge, Monjo and Jorsale villages, and then you see first glimpse of Mount Everest before getting to destination. Namche is very famous for Sherpa culture. As you reach Namche, there you will find many shops and tea houses to attract tourist. It takes six to seven hours to reach Namche.
Day 4 Rest day in Namche 3440m
Namche is an interesting place to look around. Hiking to the Everest view point and museum, it helps you to acclimatize and it offers stunning views of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest.
Day 5 Namche to Tengboche 3860m.
Today’s walk will be six hours through rhododendron forest and suspension bridge, before getting to Tengboche. Approximately, we need to walk steep accent for three hours. As you reach there you can see the Tengboche monastery, which is biggest monastery in the Khumbu region built in 1923. Local climbers before heading to Everest expedition do big rituals ceremony in the monastery to get success in their expedition.
Day 6 Tengboche to Dingboche 4410 m.
First we need to descend to Debuche then ascend to Dingnboche, it takes more or less six hours, passing through the beautiful carving main stones and traditional Sherpa village Pangboche. Along the way gorgeous glimpses of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam can be seen and weather changes dramatically in this circumstance.
Day 7 Rest day exploration in Dingboche 4410m.
Today is another day for acclimatization. Many trekkers hike to the Chhukung (4710m.) valley for adopting altitude. Here you can have stunning view of the Iceland peak and Lhotse faced to the south along the way.
Day 8 Digboche to Lobuche 4910 m.
Today walk will be for four hours, the trail almost accent to the Lobuche. Continues and passes by stone memorials of climbers who passed way during the Everest expedition. As you get on the Thukla top see the glimpse of Lobuche peak. Lobuche is a small place with few tea houses, very rare people gets altitude sickness here.
Day 9 Lobuche to Base camp and back to Gorakshep 5140m.
Today your dream changes into the reality; this is the great opportunity to get close of the Mount Everest. You are only allowed to go the Everest rock without climbing permit. As you reach there you can see the camps and people, attempting to conquer the summit as well as Khumbu icefall also known as popcorn icefall, and get back to Gorak shep.
Day 10 Hike up to Kalapatthar to Pheriche 4270 m.
Early morning hike up to Kalapattar(5550m.) where you can see first sun rise on Mount Everest(8848m.) From Kalapatthar, you can get magnificent views of Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse and countless others, and get back to teahouse then heading to Pheriche.
Day 11 Periche to Namche 3440m.
This will be long day taking around eight hours but because of loosening elevation it will be easy. From the same way we will get back to Namache.
Day 12 Namche to Lukla 2840m.
We are going back to Lukla along DudhKoshi, Jorsale, Monjo and Phakding and exit out of the Everest national park. This is the last night you can share your memories, happiness with team, next day you will get a parted.
Day 13 Fly back to Kathmandu 1350m
Early morning we say good bye to our porters and fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 14 Kathmandu 1350m.
Free or additional day, if the flight had been canceled from Lukla – Kathmandu
Day 15 Fly back to Home.
Today is the final day of your Everest Base Camp Trek. Our shuttle driver will come to your hotel 3 hours before your flight departure and deliver you to Tribhuvan International Airport. If you are remaining in Nepal, please let us know. We will be delighted to arrange extra activities for you in Nepal.
