Nepal lies sandwiched between the two domineering land and national powers i.e. India and China, yet it succeeds to retrain a culture that it distinctly holds.  The total land covered by Nepal is 1, 47,181 square km. Regarding the demographic aspects of Nepal, the current population as per latest census is 266, 20,809. Among these population Kathmandu, the capital of the country, has a total of 741000 habitants. There are about 93 different languages in Nepal, and 48.6% speaks Nepali, the main language of Nepal. Moreover there are 125 ethnic groups and castes in Nepal. Hinduism is the main religion of the country.

Geographically, Nepal is divided into three different regions: Himalayan, Hilly and Terai. The country has 8 climate zones from tropical to perpetual snow.

 Nepal is nirvana for mountain lovers. The highs of visiting Nepal include the majestic towering peak of Mt. Everest, which finally kisses the sky at an elevation of 8848m. Despite of the Mt. Everest, Nepal is popular for having some of the highest and most challenging mountains in the world, (8 highest peak of the world out of 10), can be find within relatively small area of 143,000km square.
